How can it be that we are at week 24 already? I missed the last three weeks in spite of every good intention. I gather all my tension in my neck and since I had been on a bead work spree, it really is a hard position to maintain for hours like I seem to do. As a consequence for getting my muse back, I am suffering from shoulder pain. I guess I need to take regular breaks and stretch.
In addition, I went to see a hand specialist and he did minor surgery on my thumb tendon/joint. Was expecting a consult and a booking for surgery but no, he said he could do it then and there. I had been waiting 17 mos. to see him so I wasn't about to leave. My thumb was frozen and he proceeded with a fifteen minute procedure. It has not bothered much at all and is healing nicely.
So most mornings I sit on my deck....when the sun shines that is...and have my coffee and just contemplate the greenery around me. It certainly does evoke a feeling of calm and balance.
The grandkids enjoy using this hammock and I admit to having tried it a few times.Great way to get a different perspective. My husband was late getting his garden in so not much is growing yet.
Thanks for stopping by again. If you want to see all things Green - head on over to Sally Russick's blog.

I could lay in that hammock and look at your green yard all day! Glad to hear your thumb/hand is healing pretty well - that's super. As for the neck/back thing - stretch, stretch, stretch! (yoga is awesome for this!)
I just picture laying there with a good book, a glass of lemonade and no worries! I like your kind of green.
It's great you could get your thumb fixed then and there! Hope it's healed soon.
So glad you're on the mend.
I want to put a hammock at our place. I love them - just looking at them makes me feel relaxed. : )
I wish I had a hammock. They are soo relaxing. Reminds me of my Nana and Popo's. Hope you hand (thumb) heals well.
Your hammock looks inviting. I'm glad to hear that your hand is mending.
Glad to hear that your muse has awakened after a long sleep ... and can completely understand the 'auto pilot' mode to get back into the groove! Hope your hand is on the mend and you're able to get at those beads! what a lovely spot to sit and relax ... I could swing in that hammock for quite some time
You have a wonderful garden and I just want to crawl into that hammock and relax - it all looks idyllic. Wishing you a speedy recovery with neck and hand - perhaps relaxing in the hammock might help?!
A very nice serene and peaceful feeling your photo evokes. Hope you heal quickly.
Someon bought me a hammock once ... I should find it and string it up... I think that's why it's never been installed lack of appropriatly distanced trees!
